Basic Information

IEA is a non-profit research and education organization. Its main purposes are:

• To develop more effective tools of economic analysis and policy for a macroeconomic science which can maintain stable, sustainable, structurally-balanced full-employment growth, with low inflation, low real interest rates, and a more equitable and structurally sound distribution of income and wealth.
• To help improve public understanding of how the economy works and the basic requirements for sound economic policy.
